- The IPC Section 497, which claims that the woman is not a
personal property, has been hit by an offense. Chief Justice Justice Mishra,
Judges Justice RF Nariman, Justice AM Khanilkarkar, Justice DV Chandrachud and
Justice Malhotra, a division bench, passed the verdict on September 27.
- The Supreme Court ruled that women of all ages should be
admitted to the Sabarimala temple.
- The Times Higher World University Education Ranking -2012
was the first time in the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in
Bhubaneswar.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi was inaugurated on September 28
in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, for the 'Parakrampai -2018' Exhibition. This Exhibition

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the meeting of
the International Solar Coordinating Committee members. The meeting was held on
October 2 in New Delhi and was attended by delegates from various countries
including the United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guetares.
- The SAARC Foreign Ministers Conference in New York, USA, was
held on September 28, Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj participated in the
convention.
