- 14th Asia Cup One Day-winner - India
- (In the final, India won against Bangladesh by 3 wickets.

- Russian Grand Prix title winner - Louis Hamilton, (Sochi,
Russia)
- Hockey India (HAI) President - Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed
- Women's 24th National Football Champion - Manipur, (Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha)
- The DEAF T20 World Cup will be held in Guragram in Haryana. The tournament will be held by the Deaf Cricket Society (DCS) under the International Cricket Council of the International Cricket Council (DEF).
- The Indian Cricket Control Council (BCCI) came under the RTI
Act. The Central Information Commission (CIC) has issued orders on October 1.
Accordingly, the BCCI must necessarily have to disclose it if people have any
information under the RTI Act.
- Indian Oil Corp (IOC), a government oil company, has been
employed by Indian sprinter Himaladas. On October 1, IOC Chief General Manager
Uthayya Bhattacharya said that the Hamedas achievement has been promoted by the
Grade 'A' Officer in the Human Resources (HR) department.
- Rio Paralympics Champion Thangavelu Mariyapappan is the
Indian flaghost in Asian Games. The tournament will be held from October 6 to 13
in Jakarta, Indonesia. The team of about 300 players will participate in these
pains.
